About a quarter of eligible employees do not participate in their employer- sponsored 401(k) plan, mostly because they don't understand the benefits and fear they don't know enough to make sound investment decisions. The objective of this computer-based tutorial is to educate participants and eligible employees to the features and benefits of a 401(k) plan. It includes a clear explanation of a variety of investment vehicles available to 401(k) participants as well as the importantce of diversification and long-term commitment. A unique confidential self-assessment instrument provides a risk profile to guide investment decisions within a variety of 401(k) plans.

When customized for a specific TPA, vendor or employer, the training covers specific features of the 401(k) and available investment funds in a friendly, objective and comprehensible manner. The program is currently available in DOS, but a WINDOWS version will be available shortly. We also have a version to teach corporate benefits consultants how to sell this product to small-to-medium sized organizations and another version to show the principals of such organizations how to evaluate 401(k) plans and features.
