Diagnostic instruments and certification tests can be made
available on the Internet, enabling an organization to offer certification
to a geographically-dispersed audience while gathering any data or test
scores into a central database. Access to these tests can be by means
of password and/or PIN, and the test data itself
is always secure. Guided Learning offers clients the ability to distribute
courses on CD-ROM and certify on a WEB-based
examination.
Meaningful certification is
not something we take lightly, as many times, the competency or skill
we are certifying is one that is mandated by a federal agency or by state
law, such as our training on Currency Transaction Reporting program for
the gaming industry. The exams are tough, drawing questions randomly from
a large test bank, and validation is rigorous. The Proficiency Exam for
our Managing Employment Practices courses, although not a "certification,"
as such, was developed to the same high standards.
