In addition to the off-the-shelf courses in employment law and professional development, Guided Learning creates custom CBT, interactive multimedia and web-based courses and certification examinations for clients, including financial services, telecommunications, hospitality\gaming, and higher education. We've developed courses on sales training, new product introductions, network security, telecommunications and regulatory compliance. Each course includes a certification or proficiency examination and the Guided Learning warranty that 90% of trainees completing the course will score 90% or better on that exam.

A typical custom course includes three 12-15 minute lessons, plus the exam—that usually encompasses the same content a live instructor would cover in a half-day seminar. It generally requires about 10 weeks to develop, including field testing and validation, and costs about $45,000. If there is video and audio involved, the cost could go much higher.
